GELATO
Pure Gelato Flavours
At Snow, we produce all the gelato and sorbet flavours using the traditional Italian way of an Italian gelateria and only the highest quality ingredients. Fresh milk, cage-free eggs, white cane sugar or sugar from grapes, seasonal fruits and only the finest ingredients such as nuts and pistachio from Sicily. We pay extra attention to the dosage of the cream we use, so that the gelato is not too fat and the use of sugar from grapes or sugar canes which makes the gelato even more delicious and the most important part, pure!

We combine one of the best varieties of organic chocolate in the world, with fresh milk and sugar from white cane & grapes, in order to have the richest sense of chocolate. With 65% cocoa content, the chocolate we use has notes from red fruits and a slight acidity. The cocoa seeds grow on a small family farm in Peru.

It is known that the Greeks love coffee, so we decided to make a gelato flavour from pure organic coffee seeds! The combination of milk and fresh sour cream, can end up making the gelato coffee very similar to a cup of cappuccino or latte!

Ruby chocolate has a characteristic fruity taste compared to other types of chocolate. It is less sweet and slightly acidic with hints of raspberry and lemon. We decided to combine this special taste with creamy Italian mascarpone cheese, resulting in a tasty combination loved by all kind of ages!

Dark chocolate from Mexico, rich in cocoa and spicy woody notes combined with Lapsang Souchong black tea with woody notes of pine! An explosive combination full of aromas which is definitely worth trying!

You could compare it to the classic stracciatella, but here we don't have chocolate pieces but the cocoa bean roasted, finely chopped and soaked in cold milk combined with soft creamy vanilla.

We wondered what would go best with caramel flavour, to remove the slightly sweet taste of sugar. Oh but of course the opposite! Salt!

As with all our raw materials, there is no compromise here! This is the real key to a successful vanilla flavor! We gently scrape the inside of the vanilla bean to remove the small seeds it contains and then we place them in hot fresh milk. Therefore, we add a small amount of fresh cream, grape sugar and that's it! It's a time consuming process, but it's certainly worth it and its the process that makes this gelato flavor unique. If you take a look closer, you’ll see these small black dots. These are pure vanilla seeds!

"The way it used to be" means the way our grandmothers made them: eggs (lots of them), fresh cream and a little grated lemon peel to give the cream that delightful hint of citrus. Our teacher? Lidia, the legendary chef from the "Da Guido" restaurant in Costigliole d'Asti.

We combined the sweet taste of white chocolate with the unique Greek mastic! Wanting to turn it into an even more special taste, we added pink pepper for a pleasant and eccentric spicy delight!

Zabaione is a classic Italian pastry dessert. It consists of a foamy cream which is made from egg yolks, sugar and sweet wine and is usually accompanied with biscuits! At Snow, we've taken the classic Italian recipe and turned it into a rich gelato by pairing it with homemade, Italian rubino cherry!

Nut Flavours

We choose hazelnuts from the area of Piemonte, with a high content of fat (hazelnut) and pure nutty aromas. We prefer to use them raw, without the addition of sour cream, in order to have a gelato with a clean and authentic taste. Especially for people like us, who love and have a weakness for hazelnuts!

At Snow, we produce all the gelato and sorbet flavours using the traditional Italian way of an Italian gelateria and only the highest quality ingredients. Sugar from grapes where it is needed and only seasonal fruits without preservatives and colours. As a result we have the purest refreshing and unique sorbet combinations, definitely worth trying!

A wonderful classic sorbet flavour, which is often "ruined" by the use of colour pigments and fruit pastes. One kg of Snow sorbet strawberry, contains 700gr of fresh seasonal strawberries! So fresh and rich in flavor, you haven’t tasted better! You can find it in our gelateria available, from April to June!

To have the best possible result, we choose ripe, sweet melons only when it’s their season. We chose to combine it with a sweet cream cheese such as mascarpone, creating the sweetest exotic combination! Try it and it will definitely excite you!

Enjoy the pure, refreshing taste and pleasant aroma of fresh lemons, rich in essential oils. And the recipe? Lots of lemon juice, flavoured with louiza, water from the Voss spring and sugar. The secret of success? Squeeze the lemon gently, in order not to touch the bitter unpleasant white part, under the skin of the lemon!

It is quite rare to find a gelato taste from these ingredients in a gelateria. The reason is because there are quite expensive raw material! We choose the richest in colour raspberries, the best lychee and combine them with a handmade rose syrup. The result? A sorbet rich in flavor, vitamins and 0% fat!

We wanted to create an ultimate summer sorbet, consisting of tropical fruits. So we chose to use a tropical combination of mango, coconut, passion fruit, banana and a little lime zest. The result is a cool, tropical sorbet with fine creamy texture! It will refresh you even on the hottest day of summer!

Refreshing Malibu sorbet with Caribbean rum and hints of coconut! A unique drink with tropical air in every drop, Malibu comes from the islands of Barbados and now in sorbet form only at Snow!

Made from a combo of fruits that much perfectly together, peach and tangerine! The real secret for this wonderful sorbet, are the perfect ripe peaches, rich in flavor! We use them without peeling them - because the peel gives a pleasant feeling, slightly bitter - and white cane sugar. Then, gently squeeze the mandarin, in order not to touch the bitter unpleasant white part under the skin and as always, mix the juice with mineral water from the Voss spring. This is how we enjoy the rich, natural freshness of Lolita sorbet!

Pear is a fruit that ripens in the end of summer. Its very juicy flesh, has made it beloved by all kind of ages. Yin-Yang sorbet is not something you often find in gelateria because pear is difficult to process, due to the irregular shape and the fact that it oxidizes so quickly during processing. In Snow, however, the pear comes out only at the end of summer and we combine it with ginger, in order to warm your heart in the first days of autumn!

A particularly unusual sorbet flavour that will remind you of the taste of a German cake! The challenge for Snow's team was big enough and we did manage to combine different fruit flavors along with spices and black rum! Tropical mango, tangerine and plums complement its sweet side with spices and rum turning it into a mysterious dark taste!
